Well construction

Wasiya Foundation recently constructed a new well in Mogadishu to provide clean and safe drinking water for the community. Before this project, families had to walk long distances every day to fetch water, and most of the time the water was not safe for drinking. This caused many difficulties, especially for women and children, who spent hours every day collecting water instead of going to school or earning a livelihood.
